Lines and Spots
Painting 2019 Art Foundations |
My first project is called Lines and Spots and you can figure out why. I created this project because I had to, but how it turned out just happened. As I put the brush on the paper, whatever came out, I just went with it and it actually turned out okay. As I was finishing it though, I put a little more thought into how I wanted it to look in its completed form.
This project has no particular meaning to me accept for the fact that it was the first project of the year and I was happy with how it turned out. It also showed me what I was capable of and how much I needed to grow this semester. |
Always look Under the Surface
Drawing 2019 Art Foundations |
I actually created this art piece based on some personal experience and based on a friends experience. When you look at this project, I wanted people to understand that what's on the surface isn't always the case. I also wanted people to understand that people have their own issues even if they act like everything is okay and nothing ever happens to them. Everyone has something going on. Unless you actually knew a person who was like this, you never would guess just by looking at someone that it was an act.
This art work does have meaning to me since I have been like this some days because it's easier to act than to show people what you are really feeling that day. |
It Still Happens
Collage 2019 Art Foundations |
This last project is kind of related to the last one, but not really. This project was also based on a friends many experiences. I wanted people to understand from this project is that even though there are programs and posters and speakers and whatever else in place for anti-bulling, it is still and issue across the globe and it doesn't just go away.
This project has some meaning to me because I know that this problem affects my friend, but it doesn't affect me directly. I never understood why bullying happens because there is just no point to hurt someone because they're different then them. I hope the human race gets better and bullying will one day stop all together. |
